10th anniversary limited edition bags from RADLEY : eBay Guides

On the 4th October 2008 the RADLEY brand celebrated it's 10th birthday and following this occaision launched a range of Limited Edition anniversary bags which hit the shops on 17th October.   

The collection includes variations of past best-sellers as well as brand new designs all of which come complete with a 10th anniversary LIMITED EDITION silver plaque inside the bag plus a new re-designed leather swing tag featuring an enamel trademark Radley scottie dog.

LADYBIRD - RRP £175

Originally a popular design from the 2004 Autumn/Winter season that demonstrates Radley's love for nature which has been a constant source of inspiration over the last ten years.

This shoulder tote style bag is available in tan depicting an appliqued leaf design of which a resin ladybird rests on one to give a three dimensional element to the quirky design.

It's spacious interior which is lined with vintage floral fabric is large enough to carry A4 size documents.

10TH ANNIVERSARY POCKET BAG - RRP £100

The 'Pocket Bag' was Radley's original design handbag and is still a best seller today due to it's simple and yet classy but practical design.

The 10th anniversary limited edition 'across the body' bag has been revamped to display an eye catching carved design on the front pocket.

Available in a choice of red or black, the bag features an adjustable strap, front slip pocket as well as back and inner zipped compartments.

A large A4 size tote available in brown that relects the quirkyness of many Radley designs over the past decade.

A cross stitch pattern decorates the front with a scattering of appliqued flowers. Further detail can be found on the straps which feature delicate running stitch on one side and an embossed pattern on the other.

The bag itself is unusually slim for it's size and comes complete with a matching zip-top pouch. There are also  many useful compartments inside.

This first made it's debut in the 2006 Spring/Summer collection and is making a welcome return for the special 10th anniversary celebrations.

A barrel shaped bag with two deep side pockets in soft tan leather that features a colourful chain of bright circular charms, beads and leather strips attached to one of the handles.

This large bucket shaped grab bag made from smooth red leather has returned from it's first appearance in the 2003 Autumn/Winter collection.

The sturdy handles are decorated with alternating shades of grey and pink creating the 'rainbows' that give the bag it's name. Contrasting stitching features on the front and reverse side of the bag to emphasise it's carefully sculptured shape, and it's interior features a coluful spotty fabric lining.

The last of the 10th anniversary limited editions is the 'Emboss'. A firm favourite from way back in 2002 that was part of the Autumn/Winter collection.

A classic defined, structured shape that features an attractive yet subtle abstract design of embossed shapes and the letter 'R' that is rotated in various sizes all over the bag giving it a retro edge. Lined with a vintage floral pattern fabric.
