At present there are a number of large coins of this type on ebay. They are usually advertised as 'gold/silver 5oz' giving the impression that they are composed of silver and/or gold.

In reality the Malawi 50 Kwacha coin from 2004 on the subject of 'Republic of China, Inauguration of the 11th President- Vice President of the Republic of China' is BRONZE. It is quoted in Krause 2008 edition as 'Bronze with gold plated centre and silver plated ring, 65mm'. The obverse is of a 'Large building above value within circle' and the reverse is of 'conjoined busts facing within circle'. The edge is reeded.

Whilst the value given is Krause is $85, this coin should not be viewed as a gold or silver investment as referred to in some listings. It's value lies in the coin premium only.
