Detailed below are just some of the raw ingredients used in the production of most waxes.
Colophonium :-
A translucent, brittle raw material which becomes sticky when warm and has a pine-like odour. This fundamental ingredient which is used in many waxes helps to bind the wax to the hair.
Cera Alba :-
White beeswax found in most waxes to provide the setting action needed to peel the wax from the skin.
Glyceryl Rosinate:-
A modified resin with high elasticity produced through esaterifying colophonium with glycerine.
Ethylene/VA Copolymer
A plasticider used to provide the elasticity, flexibility and adhesion qualities in hot film waxes.
