Here is an easy way to find out if the address you are sending goods or payment to is genuine. It can be worrying sending things to an unconfirmed address, but there is a way to check if it exists (UK Only).

You need a Postcode.

Log onto royalmail.com and click on Postcode Checker / Address Finder, then sign up for free.

Once you have signed up you can log on whenever you want to confirm addresses.

Never send out to an address if you cant find it on royal mail.When sending items over £15 pounds i figure why not send it by recorded delivery 1st or second class. It will save you money in the long run and give you proof of postage
