BEFORE BUYING A FORD GALAXY PLEASE READ THIS : eBay Guides

If you are thinking about buying a older Ford Galaxy  (or ANY older car) then please don't make the same mistake I did.  I saw one for sale on here recently and it had about 1 months MOT left on it.  We went to look at it and it looked great!  What I didn't do was get the AA or RAC to give it onw of their services.  If I had've I would've found out that the back brakes were shot to pieces (Pads, Discs and hoses!)  This cost £585.  Then on reapplying for the MOT I was told that the master cylinder had gone! (£200+)

The person I brought it off claimed no knowledge of this fault and therefore blatently refused to offer a penny back to cover the repairs.  I spoke to trading standards who said that the least amount I was entitled to was the price of the car, amount of repair charges and any out-of-pocket expenses we had endured. This amounted to over £2000.  But they didnt hold out much hope for us to see this money again.  So I beg you..... PLEASE get an INDEPENDANT check done before you hand over a penny.
