I have been notified today by Character Options that all Bindeez products have been recalled due to the possibility of the small beads being swallowed which  may cause serious illness.   If you have purchased any Bindeez product you should contact Character Options immediately  (UK) 0800 023 4529 for replacement non-toxic beads  currently undergoing manufacture and testing) to be sent to you or contact the store of purchase for a full refund. All current beads should be destroyed as a safety precaution.

Update May 2008 - Character Options are now issuing free replacement beads to all purchasers made to new non-toxic specifications - call 0800 023 4529 with your product name and bar code number.
