I won an auction for a Shima
no Fishing reel. (£43.00 + £ 6.00 postage & packing= £ 49.00 total) from a Seller who sent me the wrong Reel ( NOT SHIMANO )
I had to pay the full amount in order to POST them back to lONDON . I had no Real Worries with Posting the Reel back. I did so with ROYAL MAIL SPECIAL DELIVERY
MAKE SURE YOU read all of the fine print of a auction.The SELLER said on the bottom of the auction in VERY small Print that the buyer had to pay for all return POSTAGE COSTS
I THEN CHECKED HIS FEEDBACK ONLY TO DISCOVER IT HAS BEEN A REGULAR COMPLAINT WITH OTHER BUYERS
MANY WEEKS LATER HE E-MAILED ME TO TELL ME MY MONEY WOULD BE RETURNED
6 WEEKS CAME & WENT & STILL NO REFUND
NOW I WAS ' ANNOYED '
The bottom line is that it took me OVER 100 days to bring closure to the ENTIRE SORRY TALE. As a Seller, I try my best to POST out the same day of payment or at least the next day . I AUTOMATICALLY EMAIL BUYERS WHEN THEIR GOODS ARE SHIPPED
As Buyer, you must protect yourself. If you do not receive a item in 10 days, do not wait. The policy now is that you can open a dispute between 10 and 60 days. If you paid with a credit card you can dispute the charges with your credit card company and show proof you mailed the item back. So that is all buyers need to do is pay with a credit card and use paypal.
Follow through. Contact your Seller to find out what is going on instead of waiting. Learn from my example.

- I emailed him asking for a refund.
- I waited AGES. I PUT IN FOR a Paypal claim only to be told that I was too late.
- Paypal a ebay Company told me that the time limit to file a claim had expired!
- Claims must be filed within 30 days.

- DID NOT SENT GOODS
- DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN.
- NO EMAILS AFTER I PAID IN FULL
. CONMAN , STAY AWAY , REPORTED TO EBAY

- I FELT PAYPAL WERE USELESS , THEY DID NOT WANT TO KNOW THAT 1 OF THEIR ' POWERSELLERS ' WAS BEING RIPPED OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- I KNEW THE CHIEF CONSTABLE OF LOTHIAN & BORDERS POLICE VERY WELL SO HE WAS ON THE CASE FOR ME
- I E-MAILED THE SELLER TO TELL HIM OF THE POLICE INVOLVEMENT
- I finally recieved a full refund of £ 49.00 into my Paypal account f
