A huge number of cosmetics and skin care products for sale are small
sample products. These are given to customers as Gifts With
Purchase (GWP). Some buyers will make this clear when they list
their items, but others won't. Most of these items have "Not for
Individual Sale" stamped on them. This may or may not bother you
personally, but it does mean you can't really give them as a gift,
unless the recipient doesn't mind knowing how you got them!
Always make sure you read the small print when buying beauty products,
as you may be bidding on a tiny pot of the product and not the 30gram
jar you assume! It is also worth bearing in mind the age of the
product- if the packaging differs from what is used currently, the
product may be old stock and not in good condition. Packaging of GWPs
may be different- and this is a good way to spot lipsticks that are
GWPs- they usually have a cheaper case - sometimes the case is a
different colour or it may be plastic instead of metal.
