As I explained in my introduction, I do not do this for a living but as a serious hobby to give pleasure to others and myself making turned items and the money I make goes toward more materials and a bit of pocket money.  When I work out prices they therefore rarely reflect the time I have spent making an item.

The price is usually governed by the cost of materials, eBay and PayPal fees and postage costs which does tend to make my pricing seem strange sometimes.  When an item requires additional parts such as pot pourri lids, clock movements etc. they do add significantly to the cost as I only use good quality parts and do not put any mark up on them.  The price of my work at a retail outlet is an average of twice my shop price and not forgetting plus VAT!  Thank you for continuing to support my work.
