This is just a simple guide for the many new bowlers looking for a bargain ! set of bowls on ebay. I have run a bowls shop for the last Ten Years & shudder to see the descriptions given to some of the sets available. the following is how the various makers bowls run on  a reasonably fast indoor surface

One last tip always ask the for the date stamp & then deduct 10 this gives you the year of manufacture  After all that  Enjoy your bowling
