When the electric shock pen is purchased, the pen contains a AAA tester battery. The life of this battery could be limited to just a few shocks..

To change the battery

Hold the pen in the middle and gently twist the top from the bottom. Remove the battery from the pen noting the way it was removed.

The battery will have tape around it, remove the tape then replace a new battery. Inset the battery back into the pen top the way it was removed.

Important. When putting the pen back together please note the small brass connector on the bottom half of the pen. This must be held into position with the thumb when putting the pen back together. ( This could be quite tricky).

Once the pen is back together test by pressing the top of the pen on any surface, you should hear a buzzing noise.
