A GUIDE TO BUYING A REBORN

There are a lot of new people out there looking for a reborn,so what should you be looking at before you make your purchase.

Price?

Well don't!

This is not what you should be looking at first.

Look at the pictures...are they clear?

Do they show you the details? Is the 'baby' realistic?

Read ALL the comments and feedbacks.

Read All the listing details.

Is the seller trust worthy?

Does the artist belong to any guilds? Although it's not always an indication on the quality of the reborn, it does however help sometimes, as anyone who belongs to a good guild would be told by fellow members that their 'baby' was not up to selling as a reborn, but on the other hand there are some good artists around that choose not to join any guilds, so this is where looking at the listing properly can help you make the right choice.

If you find one you think you like, compare it to others of the same sculpt.

You should be able to see in the pictures the paint work and look at the hair it shouldn t be in clumps, there should'nt be any over shiney finish to 'baby', if you can't see these things properly in the pictures, then ask yourself do you really want to buy something that you can't see very well.

Don't be fooled by a 'cheap bargain' as it's not always a wise buy, after all, you get what you pay for.

Some are doing reborns because they think they can make some quick and easy money, but most do it out of love for creating these beautiful creations, they put all their heart and soul into each one they do and at the moment are getting very upset and dissolutioned by the fakes that are going around, there are even some that are calling their 'babies' "reborn" when in fact very little, if anything has been done to them.

We spend many days in creating these 'babies' and when you think about how much the kit or doll has cost, as well as the paints, hair, body, fillings, clothes, glues, eyes etc etc, not to mention the listing fees and all our hard work, so ask yourself, if its a good reborn would we really be selling it so cheap?

Every reborner has had to start somewhere, but then if these cheap dolls are from beginners then the listing should state this.

Many of us are getting emails from people who have purchased a reborn only to find they have wasted their money and are now looking for someone to sort it out, which means they did'nt get a bargain after all.

So.... look at 'baby' and fall in love and remember... a cheap buy is not always a good buy, we want you to be proud of your reborn and not feel like you should hide it away in a cupboard.
