Be wary of buying out of date Liz Earle products : eBay Guides

I have been a Liz Earle customer for some years now and have seen some changes in the packaging and tissue wrap which her company have adapted.  It is slightly concerning that there appears to be quite a few items listed on ebay as "brand new" which when you look at the photos the packaging went out at least 5 years ago. As any reputable seller knows the shelf life of an unopened product is 2 years maximum so these products may well not be at the usual high standards of an in date item. 

The packaging to look out for is the ones where Liz Earle looks as if it could have been handwritten, it has a natural flow to it rather than the obvious typed lettering which now features on the packaging.  Also the colours have changed, ie, body care is blue, skincare green and eye care and face treatments the beigey colour.

Generally the old style packaging is appearing in mixed bundles where the rest of the lot is in fact new so please look at the pictures carefully rather than just reading the item description.  If there is no picture ask the seller to send you one as there should be nothing to hide if the item is genuine. If in doubt always check on Liz Earles website or visit her ebay shop to double check what the item should look like.

If an item has an idelible S on it, it is a factory second and will have some packaging defect, ie text on front is English but text on back is German - these products are sold direct from Liz Earle on ebay so if someone is selling these as brand new, that is not strictly true either.

PLEASE PLEASE LOOK AND READ THE ITEM DESCRIPTIONS CAREFULLY - YOU ARE THROWING GOOD MONEY DOWN THE DRAIN
