The Best Mascara!!

If, like me, you love your lashes long and lush, then I bet you love mascara.

I think I must have spent hundreds searching in vain for the PERFECT MASCARA!

Here's my view on a few popular ones at the moment. Can I just say that obviously results will vary from perosn to person. My lashes are quite long, yours may be short, you may love volume, I prefer seperation.. and so on! So don't take what I say for gospel, try them for yourselves!

Benefit Bad Gal Lash

I personally think this is over-rated. The packaging and tube is a really funky design and the mascara itself is suprisingly large. This is reflected in the size of the applicator brush! It's big and if you're not careful you'll get mascara all over your eyelids.

I found that it took at least 3 whole applications to get a decent result and big fat long lashes, not all it cracked up to be! It also comes off quite easily, leaving black shadow marks under your eyebrows where your lashes hit.

Plus, it's not that cheap.

Maybelline Great Lash

I love the colour of this tube! Bright funky pink..

This mascara was more promising, seperating lashes really nicely, although didn't really lengthen or plump up.

The wand was a nice size and went on really well.

This is a good mascara to wear if you're just going to be around the house or work, not something for the weekend or parties!

Good price.

Overall mark? 7/10

Lancome Definicils

My absolute favourite mascara of all time!!

Really petite wand means you get to the lash root and all those tiny lashes at the bottom and sides.

Great consistency of mascara, doesn't clump ever!

This really does seperate my lashes perfectly, and makes them alot longer too!

To be honest I can't find any faults with this.. I am definitly settled with this!

You can always get a good deal on this off Ebay, but can be expensive in shops.
