I have recently received several emails through Ebay claimimg to be from buyers from the USA saying they bought and paid for an item from me with threats of calling the police & FBI.

The other scam is also from the USA  and a potential buyer is asking how much would it cost to post this particular item to the USA.

They are both SCAMS and the scammers are trying to get your log in details and if you click on the link to the item in question it will take you to a blank Ebay log in page once you enter your details they have access to your Ebay account and can sell items through it and if you are a Paypal user they will start sending you emails regarding your Paypal account.

You might receive an email porporting to be via paypal saying i bought this item from you for 149USD but it's faulty can i get a refund or how much extra should i add for postage & packing to my destination. when you click on the link to the item in question you will be taken to a blank paypal log in page and once to log in the have access to your paypal account and can change your bank details to filter funds into another account and cause you endless problems.

If you receive emails from people you never hears of or official looking emails from Ebay or Paypal asking for information regarding your accounts remember they already have the information you provided it when you opened the accounts, THINK BEFORE YOU REPLY!!!

If you feel you have been scammed change your passwords & bank details and contact either Ebay or Paypal they will assist where they can.

These are all variations of old scams so be aware and protect yourselves....

I have just received an email which looks like it has come from Ebay and shows up in my messages email saying that my listings have been deleted & my account suspended, this is another SCAM look at the body of the email you can see where it originated from i have forwaded the email to Ebay, this is another tactic to obtain your personal details so BEWARE.
