Bi-wiring refers
to separate wire runs from a common amplifier output to two different
inputs on the same speaker.
This requires a speaker specifically designed with bi-wiring in mind as the speaker’s passive crossover must be designed to allow this.
The speakers must have two sets of external binding posts connected by removable jumpers or "bus bars."
