Here is a quick guide to fitting and maintaining your bike or scooter break pads.

Colours:

Green pads: scooters/small capacity motorcycles

Blue pads: road/street use, best all round pad

Gold pads: HH sintered/moto cross and high temperature road use

Red pads: racing pads, not suitable for highway use, limited model availability.

Fitting Instructions:

A qualified motorcycle mechanic must fit the disk pads in accordance with the O.E.M specifications.

Bedding in your pads must start with light use (except in an emergency) untill 85% contact between pad and disk has been achieved. This is normally achieved within 100 miles of town use.

Saftey:

check pads on a weekly basis, replace pads when the friction material reachest 2mm thickness or pads become grooved or damaged.

Warning:

Do NOT contaminate your pads with oil or solvents.

Hope this helps.
