When buying a carrier to transport a Cat or Dog out of the UK you need to be aware that not all carriers are suitable.

Many Carriers available on eBay state that they are "Airline Approved" and this is probably the case for US airlines as they allow animals within the cabin of the plane - in the UK no animals are permittied in the cabin.

For travel in the hold of a plane leaving the UK or a UK airline the carrier must be IATA Airline Travel Approved.
