Ebay is a great place to buy a Bulgarian property, not only are you pretty much guaranteed to get a Bulgarian property cheaper than from an estate agent or online, but most of the time you'll be dealing with real companies too - Its easier to run a website selling property than keep an Ebay ID running 5 years running, trust me! On Ebay, sellers have to be fair to buyers, have to be accurate in listings and abide by the terms laid down by Ebay.

Forget all the myths about buying a property on Ebay, anyone can have a website listing property, and they dont have to abide by the strict, often hard to attain rules, laid down by their hosts (In our case Ebay).

This guide is how to buy from a reputable seller at a great price.

Lets start with ourselfes, We are:

  • A Platinum Ebay Powerseller
  • A member of the Highly regarded Ebay Professional sellers alliance
  • A real company with offices, staff and company cars for client transport
  • A company who has traded in property on Ebay for 5 years, no changing IDs or dodging clients, just 5 whole years selling property daily.

Lets look at examples of who may not be such a good type of seller to buy from:

  • Only list mobile numbers, or London numbers (Come on, which company selling Bulgarian property on Ebay is going to have offices in central London?)
  • Does not publicly show their office address, or that they dont have offices at all (Would you trust someone selling property from a hotel lobby in the UK?)
  • Someone with few feedback, but with claims to have sold zillions of property, or someone who has sold something completely unrelated (A shoe seller turned property auctioneer for example)

Get to know your seller, ask a lot of questions, make sure you are dealing with who you think you are, not someone with a big load of sob stories or blabber about how the seller knows Bulgaria better than everyone else, and that they know the secret to buying - Who does?

An inexperienced seller, may turn into your worst nightmare, they may not have the deeds, the deeds may be innacurate, the house you buy may not be yours.

Getting a property in Bulgaria at low cost involves looking at the days that prices are low, typically wednesdays, Saturdays and Mondays are the days where our properties end at low prices, and this is pretty much the same accross the board. Bad photos do not mean a bad house, if a listing has awful photos, take a closer look at the house because it may actually be quite nice!
