There has been a spate of sellers on eBay recently selling Franklin electronic dictionaries, spellers, crossword solvers and foreign language translators unpackaged. The reason given is often:
Franklin do not send out brand new items unpackaged. How could removing packaging after it has been packed be environmentally friendly?
Legally these goods are not new and should be classed as used as they have been previously purchased and then returned.
There may be nothing wrong, they might work fine and they may even be good enough to give as gifts but please be aware they are used shop returns. I only sell new and sealed items.
- Franklin ship them this way
- It is environmentally friendly
- Packaging is disposed of prior to shipping to save you money.
