When buying cars from e bay ask for the MOT test number which is located on the top left of the MOT test certificate. With this number and the car registration number you can go to www.motinfo.gov.uk and find all the history of the cars MOT,s including any advisories issued. You have a legitimate right to this imfomation from the seller if you are thinking of buying the car.If the seller does not or wont give the imfomation there is something wrong with the car that they want to keep hidden. Try it out on your own car first, all the imfomation is on the back of your currant MOT certificate.
