I recently bought some clothes from a number of different sellers who's autions finished at the same time. All maternity wear as I am 7 months pregnant. These items all arrived in the same week. All were washed straight away so they were ready to wear.A week late i notice I have started itching, I simply assumed it was psoriasis as I am a sufferer,so I ignored it and did as I usually do when my psoriasis appears.

Two weeks on and the itch gets uncontrolable, I make a visit to the doctors as I was worried, it turned out to be scabies. I havent caught it from anyone around me as A. no one I know has this problem and B. Yoy need to be sharing a bed and having intercourse to catch it. Which at this time neither apply as my partner is unwell and not sharing our room so I do not catch his illness.

Anyway the doctor imediatly asked had I bought any second hand clothes? well yes a couple of weeks ago.To get rid of this problem you have to wash all clothes, sheets, bed lining and anything washable e.g furniture- sofas with removable covers on 60 degrees or above which can cause shrinkage,your doctor provides you with a cream, then any soft furnishings need to be covered in plastic for a couple of weeks to kill the bug.

The person whom sold the infested item done it knowingly which is the worst thing.

My advice if you buy any second hand clothes wash it straight away on at least a 60 wash or send straight to the drycleaners, I have suffered not only a horrendus condtion, the cost of a hell of a lot of washing!
