DARK GREY OR LIGHT GREY??

On several occasions I have often turned to Ebay in order to purchase Clinique Male Skincare Products - and sadly I cannot belive my eyes. I am a good ebayer seller and always purchase my products from a UK licensed Pharmaceutical Wholesaler therefore, I am usually quite good at spotting what is a good or a bad product. Sadly with Clinique products I dont always get them at a good price and they are often not in stock therefore this is the only reason I would generally turn to Ebay to try and the get the product I need at a good price. After all there are many many great sellers trying to earn an honest living as am I. Fortunately, when I started my business I investigated importing goods from the States and although many sellers are getting there goods in from there I can only assume that they are not paying too much attention to the Rules and Regulations set out by the Department of Trade and Industry. Basically any person who sources products from anywhere outside the Eurpean Union must employ a pharmacist to test each a product from each batch before selling it. If they dont and they are investigated and found to be guilty of non testing will be fined upto £50,000 and possible imprisonment. The penalties are very high due to the fact that most sellers dont have personal insurance if for instance a bad batch of skincar scars a customers skin or even worse - causes blindness or even a fatality. I spoke to the DTI about this and they are in the process of looking at each individual shop on Ebay. As you can imagine this is a massive drive that they are undertaking and I such they have been successful thus far in prosecutions. Anyway I have gone off the beaten track slightly so back to my point. Anyone purchasing Clinique Male Skincare needs to check to see the colour of the bottle or packaging. If it is a charcoal grey colour then you can be fairly certain that it is a good safe product. Ask the seller where the product has been sourced from - if they say outside the EU then ask them if they can verify the testing process. Anyone with nothing to hide will tell you. If the packaging etc is a light grey in colour then the product is old (Clinique stopped producing the light grey brand about 3 years ago so you can imagine how old the product is). I am informed by Clinique that the product was removed from all of their respectable stockists at that time and basically was sold off to wholesalers. These are the people who the sellers will be buying from in the States. They get tons of the it for really cheap prices. Clinque does not have a best before date only an individual code which is not for customers to understand. SO REMEMBER DARK GREY IS FRESH - LIGHT GREY IS BAD!!!!!
