When transporting concrete garden ornaments or statues the best thing to do is wrap them in CLEAN cut up duvet or very thick cloth, most damage is caused by the vibration so try putting the items on a thick piece of matting.

Keep the items standing up as this is the way that the concrete has been set and will reduce torsion over bumps and humps.

Try not let two items touch without having cloth in between them as two pieces rubbing together this is especially true for paineted items.

Make sure that the cloth used is clean as any stains will be pressed on to the ornament over relatively a short period of time.
