Cararama are very new into the field of diecast models. They were originally called Hongwell, and sometimes the Hg log can still be seen on the recent issues.

They are basically light weight diecast with some plastic parts (not really for the under 36 months old) Although they are often very, very detailed.

Predominantly made in two sizes/scales 1/72 and 1/43. They are all made in China and are quite low cost compared to other brands. (some early models were 1/76)

An excellent range of Land Rovers and Service Vehicles (Army, ambulance, fire, police, mountain rescue, Raf etc) with mainly classic cars; Beetles, Lotus, Golf GTi and so forth.

Schuco often have the EXACT model/item and re-box it under the Schuco brand. These items normally fetch a little bit more money, but always due to branding.

Price range anywhere from £1-£5 with occassionally up to £8 for the rarer items.

Cheap and Cheerful with very diecast detail.
