Cleaning

Use a mild detergent like washing up liquid or shampoo in warm water.wipe gently with a clean cloth.Dry with a lint free tea towel / cloth .Do not use paper towels.

If rubbed to harshly any dirt will cause scratches

DO NOT USE ammonia based products,solvents,widow cleaners ,thinners,acetones,petrol,kitchen scourers.

With mirror acrylic extra care needed to protect the backing as scratches to this will remove the mirror.

Polishing

micro fibre cloths are perfect,i use a car interior polish ,works very well

never use furniture or window polish,make sure product is safe to use on plastic

Removing surface scratches

For light scratches, use a buffing compound such as car wax, using the buffer provided lightly buff the sheet until scratches disappear

another good fine grit product is novus 2 and 3

this will also work on mirror acrylic but care needed on the backing as this is the mirror.

Acrylic if looked after will remain good as new for years.

acrylic can break if dropped but on the whole pretty resilient. It wont shatter like glass.

This goes without saying but KEEP AWAY FROM HEAT ,acrylic goes floppy if to near a heat source.
