If you don't want fake Chanel items, check out my guides for the know how on how to buy Chanel and other designer goods safely on eBay.

This guide is specifically focusing on Chanel Ballet pumps.  The quilted Chambon line ones, normally black with the white Chanel logo on them, which are fake on eBay.  Monkey_face2006 sells loads of fake ballet pumps and is making mugs out of the people he is selling them to.  I contacted a lady because she bought a pair from this person for £180!!!  Just £45 less that the RRP for the authentic ones!  She has since contacted eBay and was lucky enough to get her money back.  If you want fakes, so be it, but go straight to the supplier in China who sells them for £10, do not waste your money.

One major difference between the two is this:

This is a picture of my authentic Chanel ballet pumps.  Notice the sole is rubber with quilted design and pink with black writing.  Chanel should also be indented into the sole twice, along with Made in Italy.  The insole should be indented with the word Chanel, not inked on with a silver colour.  This is a picture of the fakes:

I see these everywhere.  Last time I checked on these shoes on eBay they had 2 days left of the auction, and they were already selling for £82!  That's mad, for a pair of fakes.  They cost £225 in the boutiques. Paying £82 (it will be more at the end of the auction, I've seen these sold for £150), but it'd better paying that little bit of extra money because these people are making fools of people.  These shoes cost pennies from China, why let these fraudsters run away with your hard earned cash?

The fake shoes also come in white with black logo, and pink with black logo, but still have the silver print on the insole of the shoe, which should be just Chanel on it's on engraved into the insole, and the cheap looking red soles.

Also, on fake Cambon line items, the diagonal quilted design is much more prominent than the authentic.  On the authentic items, the quilted deisgn is marked off with sewn in thread, and the material doesn't really stick out much, but on the fake items it does stick out a bit and is alot more cushiony, if that actually is a word  :)

The real ones come in a box with a black dustbag for each shoe.  Do not accept white dustbags!  These are either fake or from handbags.

 Also,

***Chanel shoes do not come with authenticity cards!!!***

I can't stress that part enough.  If you have bought designer shoes in the past, when have you ever got an authenticity card with your shoes?  Think about it.  If there are trying to flog an authenticity card with a pair of shoes, they must be over compensating for the fact that they are fake.  Also, if the authenticity card number is 9395451, this is a fake authenticity card which is produced in the masses in China, so the authenticity card isn't actually authentic!
