The following is a list of official licensed character pocketwatches. Anything not on the list is a modern unlicensed item made up by creating a new face and putting it onto a standard issue pocketwatch. An original standard 1950's Ingersoll pocketwatch sells for £5-£10. All official character pocketwatches have a copyright.

Prewar years 1933-1939 - Betty Boop, Big Bad Wolf, Buck Rogers, Dizzy Dean, Donald Duck, Flash gordon, Lone Ranger, Mickey Mouse, Moon Mullins, Popeye, Rudy Nebb, Skeezix, Smitty, Three Little Pigs, Tom Mix.

Postwar years 1946-1958 - Captain Marvel, Captain Midnight, Dan Dare, Dick Tracy, Donald Duck, Hopalong cassidy, Jeff Arnold, Peter Pan.

1958-1972 - Buck Rogers, Buster brown, Charlie Chaplin, Flash Gordon, Marilyn Monroe, Mickey & Minnie, Roy Rogers, Superman, Valentino.
