If you have decided that you would like a psychic/spiritual reading, ensure the person you pick is someone you are drawn to. Also make sure you understand the difference between psychic and spiritual, earth based guidance and mediumship.

If you want to link to the spirit world, do not choose someone who works only on a psychic level. If you really want to have guidance on your present day or future lifepath, dont choose a reader who works on a mediumship/spiritual level. Some readers may not seem to know the difference, make sure you as the potential client does know! Also understand the terms that are used.The ultimate label is "Clairvoyant" this is jsut telling you they work on a visul basis.Images,pictures,visual symbology. Clairvoyance is not seperate ability from psychic or mediumship...it is simply a psychic tool they work best with or able to access to translate the information they are reciving to you the client..Clairvoyance litterally means "clear seeing"

For Example, time and agin you will see someone discribing themselves as a psychic/clairvoyant Mdium. Lets translate this to what it actually is,I have taught this subject for nearly two decades,worked both on a psychic level and mediumship level for that time period. Guiding both privately and via the church rostrum to the level of Lecturer on this subject.So trust me....This is the translation of Psychic/Clairvoyant/Medium. Sometimes the reader themselves do not know, make sure you have the knowledge even if they do not.

Psychic = They can work on an earth based energy level,in other words they can read future sugnposts, present day and past situations about you, the client.

Clairvoyant = The information they recieve is more on a more visual basis. They see pictures,scenes,visual symbology.

Medium = They are able to translate information passed onto them from the spirit world. This information will only be,and can only be one of two things.The bulk of the information should be the mediums passing on information that confirms the person in the spirit worlds identity. The second thing,and this should only be very brief information is something specific that is happening aorund your presnet day situation. Not future events..present day. The spirit world do not always do this,on rare occasions they will.

YOU CAN NOT HAVE A MEDIUM WORKING ON A PSYCHIC LEVEL. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A PSYCHIC WORKING ON A MEDIUMSHIP LEVEL. YOU CANNOT DO TWO DIFFERENT THINGS ALL AT THE SAME TIME! THEY HAVE TO BE DONE SEPERATELY! 

Psychic is all about you, and whats going on in your life, on this earthplain. Mediumship is recieving information about and from someone in spirit. Two different levels of conciousness,two different ways of gaining information. You can change hats between psychic work and mediumship but you cannot have a mix of both all at the same time!

If there is one thing you take with you from this guide....please take on board to be careful of readers who encourage you to ask them questions. Think about it, why do you think they do that? Why do you think there feedback will be, wow,they are amazing, how did they know... You told them by asking a question,thats how they knew, they basically have just told you what you wanted to hear. If your going to ask a question, do so after the main part of the reading is done. If there is a specific area of your life you want answers to, the reader should naturally be drawn to that area,without your help, without you having to tell them.

There listings will say"Ask me a question, want advice on your love life, family matters,career?" Think about what you are doing at that point. You are already telling them exactly what part of your life there are issues with, or that you want changed. And you then will wonder and be amazed at how they were able to tell you exactly what you wanted to hear and hone in on the exact area of your life you wanted to know about.....Not exactly rocket science how they did that is it?

Sometimes within a reading what you think is important to know may actually not be. You may think you need to focus on your career,but actually you may need to focus on emotional aspects to bring true balance into your life. So just go with the flow,and if the reader does not pick up on what you want,then ask the question afterwards, towards the end of the reading.The reader should be telling you things, not the other way around!

Being told what you want to hear may have a short term feel good affect,but has it really helped? If you choose to go with the flow,and take on board the guidance given even if it isnt what you want to hear and then base your choices upon that. Surely that is more honest and helpful in the long run than allowing ithers to fool you , or worse you fooling yourself.

Grieving - If you have recently lost someone to the spirit world,it would do you far more good to wait a while , chat to a friend,see a counsellor or simply wait until you do not feel you need to hear from that person. To have a reading early on in the grief process can have detrimental effects on that healing process . A painful and torturing emotional time, but something that you must allow to run its course, no matter how painful at the time it seems. Unfortunately there are people out there who would see you as vulnerable and an easy person to read for as you would be less likely to question what you were being told if stated its from the spirit world.

Do not choose a reader from the picture that is used for their listing, nor how fancy they have made their listing look. Read what they have to say, not the bumf of how many years experience they have,how psychic they have been since they were in their mothers womb. There is no way that you nor them infact can be certain of this or prove it.

Dont look for the obvious within a  listing. Look at the surplus stuff that doesnt seem important. Do they seem to put them selves in an ivory tower? Do they claim to be the best? Do they pertain to have super human abilities that no one else could possibly have?...Ask yourself why they are doing this.

Giving the basics about themselves of course is understandable.Experience,knowledge and understanding of a subject must come into this.

But how do they approach their listings? Are they down to earth and sincere? Are they humble within the work they do,remember they are serving you as a reader, you are there client. od they put there own self importance above yours?

Also know yourself the difference between psychic and spiritual readings. If Someone claims to predict your future with the help of Angels or the spirit world. DO NOT touch them with a barge pole.The spirit world nor the angelic realm are allowed, nor would want to interfere in your life path. They can only guide you,and be there for you when overcoming obstacles etc.Think about it, this is why we are all given free will. To make the choices in life we need t, and to learn from them.

To predict and guide around future events etc this is purely on a psychic level.the reader is going out of their way to read your time line,your energy,your lifepath. they will use basic instinct, or tools such as tarot or crystals, even scrying. No matter what they use to find this information, they are going out of there way to get it.Imagine if you will a radio wave. To get information about you, the radio wave will come from the reader outwards,get the info then it will return back with the information,then the reader translates it.

When working with the spirit world,the reader goes nowhere, the spirit world or angelic realm come to them. The information is given to them. The radio wave as such is only going one way,and that is to the reader from the spirit world.

Also take note that as I have said above, no one from the spirit world would interfere with you free will. That means they will only give guidance,and the main focus any spiritual reading is to confirm the identity of that person who has passed over and to let you know they are with you.It never has been, and never will be to interfere with your life path.

So if you come across a reader that states that they transform your future with the help of angels or Spirit....Be very careful.

This does not mean they are not linking into these beings,but what they are doing is getting there radio waves mixed up,and being and experienced reader they should most certainly know the difference.This is when you get a reading where you the client is having to make things fit what you are being told. its literally getting crossed signals...

So choose your reader carefully! But above all...always remember self responsibility...You and you alone can only ever choose the path you walk. You and you alone can only ever make the decisions in your life.

Readers can only ever guide you,they never can, nor will ever be given the responsibility from a higher source/God whomever to tell you what to do!
