The Clarins Moisture Rich Body Lotion generally comes in three sizes, the 100ml, 200ml and the 400ml sizes, and some sample sizes in between.

I was wondering what all the fuss was about as the Clarins Moisture Rich Body Lotion is one of my bestsellers, so I decided to join the lotion's fan club and try the product for myself. Read on to see the results I discovered.

A light textured, almost milky body lotion that Clarins claim is designed to combat rough, itchy, dry or very dry skin, and guess what? it does exactly that. Quite surprisingly, I would have expected a cream with a thicker consistency rather than a lotion to combat my dry skin.

I don't generally have a dry skin all over but can have dry legs especially in the winter months when I am wearing trousers. The formula sinks into my skin leaving hardly any oily residue on the surface. Ideal if you want to target specific areas of dry skin, for example, dry legs, elbows, tummy area, and the lotion even makes an excellent hand cream but can be costly. So I would say that I could get away with using it from the neck area down to the underside of the feet as I quite often do. My skin is left feeling smooth, supple, moisturised and fragrantly fresh.

The formula is probably a bit much for me to use in the Summer months and as most products have a shelf life of six to twelve months once opened, it is good enough to store in a cool dry place ready for when I do require it during the warmer months, especially after swimming and testing bad body exfoliators which dry out my skin, so no waste.

The downside of the product would probably be the cost, but hey! if it works, it's better than buying a less expensive product that doesn't do the job. The 400ml size with continuous use last's upto 3 months using it in the morning only. I don't generally use bodycare in the evening unless my skin requires it. The 200ml size last's upto a month and longer.

So if you need a product to combat rough dry skin without medical intervention such as medicated creams then I certainly can recommend The Clarins Moisture Rich Body Lotion as a good buy, obviously, if you have a problem which exceeds dry, itchy skin then it would be better to seek medical advice from your doctor. (For those still wondering, I have a Normal skin type which can become dry at certain times)

My thumbs up star rating for this product would have to be a whopping 4 out of 5 (T h a n k  y o u Clarins)
