I have noticed a growing trend on E-Bay recently.

There are a number of "0" rated sellers with non-georgaphical locations ( Just United Kingdom ) selling large expensice items for far less than they are worth.

Example of which was a 3Ton JCB Mini Digger 2006 model for just £2000. Clearly worth four times that !

When you contact these people, strangely they ask for a payment by BACS etc. ( I have not bothered but know people that have )

The photo's are telling too as they seem to show rather proffesional pictures of the items either in action or clearly abroad or airbrushed. Some even seem to have been taken on a drive by of a building site !!

Just beware. If it seems to good to be true, it probably is !! On any high value item, always insist on cash on collection as that way if you arrive and it does not exist or is totally different to the one advertised then you can walk away. Also, if you request to pay by cash and they refuse, be very suspicious !!

Again, I hope this helps. If that digger was genuine, all I can say is "Doh !!! "
