A tip my gran swore by, (unfortunately she passed away in Nov 2007), and as a thank you to her, I have decided to share her wisdom.

Use the own brand cola which supermarkets sell, if you doubt its cleaning power leave a dirty 2p piece in a glass of it over night - by morning it will be clean

It works the same way inside the loo, and it is considerably cheaper than the products the manufacturers would have us buy!
