TRANSFORMERS ... ROBOTS IN DISGUISE

It was 1984 ... and Transformers was the coolest concept to hit animation for years. The Autobots versus the Decepticons had clearly fired up the imagination of the toy industry too and it wasn't long until a range of fantastic Transformers hit the shelves. These toys were so cool ... mighty robots that could change into awesome vehicles.

The first wave of Transformers were amazing ... and these first generation toys were far superior to the later ranges that were released between 1985 and 1991. They have also become highly sought after collectables too. With the new Transformers re-igniting an interst in the original toy lines these 1st Generation Transformers are becoming harder to track down.

Below is a checklist for the Original 1984 Generation 1 range ...

The 1984 Transformers Checklist

I hope you find this guide helpful ... and if you are thinking of starting a collection of Wave 1 Transformers but are feeling the effects of the credit crunch then I suggest starting with Optimus Prime as this toy is one of the best Transformers ever made but was also mass produced and is slightly easier to track down for a reasonable price !!!

Happy hunting !!!
