Sew on Fabric Sheets (Cotton, Voile, Silk, Linen Inkjet)

Instructions for use:

  • Before printing off the Linen or Voile fabric sheets please iron the fabric sheets on both sides first. This ensures the fabric sheets are fresh before being put through the printer. The Silk, Cotton, iron-on cotton fabric sheets do not need to be ironed first.
  • Load the sheets into the printer and make sure that they are sitting straight in the feeder tray. If the fabric sheets are not straight this may lead to ink blotches at the sides of the sheet.
  • You can use the usual settings on your printer, as there are no special set-up requirements. The only exception is the silk fabric. It is a good idea to lighten up your images before you print onto the silk to make sure that not too much ink is injected into the fabric. This should not make a difference to the quality of the print.
  • Once printed leave the fabric sheet for one hour to dry flat. The fabric should now be colour fixed.
  • Peel off the backing.
  • The fabric is now ready to use.

Washing Instructions:

  • Please wash by hand in warm (not hot) water, with either normal soap or the soap from washing-up liquid (dish detergent).
  • Wash dark colours separately.
  • Cool iron on Reverse.
  • You can dry clean the fabric sheets but there will be some fading with the cotton but not the silk.
  • Please note that colours may fade, gradually.

I carry several items like this, so do pop in and take a look!
