In the past day I have recieved 11 fraudulent emails from Chinese scammers. By selling expensive items or popular items you expose yourself, but experience protects you. Here's a few tips to spot a fake.

1) The sender will tell you of a fantastic opportunity usually regarding electronics.
2) The sender is usually Chinese or has low feedback.
3) They ask for payment through wire transfer and almost never accept paypal.
4) They may be pretending to be eBay and asking you to update passwords- eBya never do this.

Some are harder to spot than others, and some are similar but it is always worth reporting a suspicious email to eBay through the help file or posting it to the community.

Finally, remember, if something seems too good to be true, it usually is.
