This has happened to me so many times and yet i never learrn. too many times have i just seen the thing i want and randomly buy it with out thinking! i know its obvious but shop around and never settle for second place. i have picked up many bargains by being persistant and not giving up when i loose items. i have bid the same item but in different listing 10+ before and i eventualy got it for the price i wanted :-)
