Further to my last guide on the 9303 and the "dangers" of self importing, I feel it is now necessary to warn potential ebayers of sourcing equipment from the Far East again.

The DSX9 has been given certification for Europe. However, JR Radio somehow released DSX9 variants destined for the rest of world with a CE label attached.  This creates a problem as these sets ARE NOT CE compliant and as such are illegal to use within the EU.

The Far East sellers will tell you that the power output is the same as the American systems but it has a CE label.  This is a contradiction as if the power level is the same as the US, then it cannot be CE compliant.

The ONLY source for a fully compliant DSX9 for the UK and those countries within Europe who have allowed the use of 2.4 GHz, is via MacGregor Industries.  If you are offered a DSX9 and you are not certain whether it is compliant or not, get the serial number and contact MacGregors and we can trace the serial number and batch number to ascertain whether it is a CE compliant system or not.
