Original Paintings on Canvas are good, but have you looked at the option of Digital Canvas?
This is basically where a very high resolution printing is done on Canvas and the resulting printing is an amazing replica of an existing painting. This is now starting to become very popular as a digital canvas actually looks amazing if not actualy better than the original paintings sometimes.
Popular atrists such as Jack Vettriano, Brent Lynch, Brent Heighton, ect are now been re-produced on Digital Canvas (Lithographic Transfers on Canvas).
