I recently bought a Lip Pout By Skindoctors, a great brand and a real fav with me along with Decleor and Elemis of course ,which is another story, review i need to tell you all about, i won my item from a seller called
grievescottage
say they are a shop and sell lots and lots!!!
great i thought as it really was a bargain, i didnt stop to think why?... well it arrived, i opened it thinking i love ebay, love a great bargain, the box was a bit tatty but i've come accross that before and dont have a problem with a squashed box or frayed edges, the casing of the lip pout looked okay, but when i twisted it open and removed the wand i was horrified to see a dark greeny, black, disgusting gooey muck on what should have been a clean wand, it was clear the item had been used, contaminated in some way, it was sold to me as new, it clearly was not new and there was no way i would put the wand near my lips, i did think about just throwing it away but i thought no!!! why should i loose out!!! although this type of thing has only happened to me twice and for such a small amount i wanted an explanation, i emailed the seller who instantly said it could not be so and i was trying to pull some sort of scam, i assured the seller i was an honest buyer and bought lots of beauty items on a regular basis, many for a much higher value and many from fav sellers of mine who always have great bargains, i told them that if they would take a look at my feedback they would see that sending items back, saying they are used or any other type of scam are not my style, i got emails back telling me i was rude, i had sent them back a different item and ruined the box? i was accused of a whole load of rubbish, i eventually got a refund by opening a dispute and i also got a nasty email telling me i was a mans appendage, it angers and saddens me that people like this seller are here on ebay to find mugs to buy there rubbish, so please girls when hunting that bargain, ask yourself important questions.... does it look genuine? if its a shop seller how can they afford to sell a what would basically be for a loss? and do look at, in detail, a sellers feedback, theres no smoke without fire as they say....... and when treated in this manner by nasty people out to rip you off, take a min to write a review and tell others so they do not have the misfortune to deal with them, lets name and shame them and maybe discourage them from trading there crap on ebay, i love ebay though and will continue searching for those gems we all find.
