I have used Paypal for sometime and I must have lost over £300. paypal will not refund you if the item you buy  is fake. They ask for you to settle matters with the seller!!!!!!!, despite the fact that you have had the item identified as a fake by the manufacturer. They will also not refund you if something is damaged in the post. About 3 months ago I bought an Arcam Tuner from someone who said it was perfect, when it arrived the front panel was broken and split. I complained to the seller because it had been packed in a large cardboard box with no packing materials to protect it from damage. I took photos of the box, the packing the tuner and two witness statements, but PAYPAL did absolutely nothing. BUYER BEWARE OF THE SO CALLED PAYPAL GUARANTEES~ THEY ARE WORTHLESS.
