Definately this years hottest toy. As at the 11th November 2006 John Lewis have sold out (they sold the last 54 available on the Website on Thursday 1st November), apparenty there are 6 in Cheadle but all are on customer retention (they were selling them at £24.99 - got that one wrong didn't they). Argos have 3 available in the Falmouth store (they also have TMX Elmo's) and some are available in smaller Scottish stores. I had a chat with one of the senior managers at Toys R Us who said they knew in September that the mask was going to sell out. Officially they have a few visible brain masks in odd store here and there (South Wales & Exeter). Toymaster sold out this week.Tesco sold out in October. Woolworths still have some in the odd small store here & there but do you really fancy a day out to Cleveland. Forbidden Planet sold out apparently the day they got them. Other than that the distributors have none, One of the ones I talked to said the next container ship was due 15th December but that there is no way any of those will hit shelves before the 2nd week of January. So, (and I'm not just talking up my own book - looks like the stock on Ebay and on Amazon (at £59) is it).
