Make sure that the item you are bidding for is worth the money that you are comitting to pay! While I was looking for a larger dolls house for my daughter I noticed that many people were bidding on dining room sets, kitchens etc. and the total inc postage and packaging came to more than if they were ordered or bought new from the shop or their website.

I would also suggest that people be a little cautious and check different websites for these products to see how much they are selling for at the moment, you can buy ELC products from a number of deparment stores, supermarkets, ToysRus, boots, etc. I bought the ELC georgian town house which includes all the room sets  for £39.99. People are buying the same product for anything upto £70 plus about £15.00 postage ... thats £45 more than I paid.
