This phone works GSM 900/ 1900 networks and is a classical retro business phone. It was launched in 1999 and is now discontinued from production. The phone was a revolution at its time weights 83g, was ULTRA-slim, and measured 97 x 50 x 15 mm.

The displays are monochrome graphic (simple green light and black text). It has a built-in monophonic ring tone composer, 2 games- Tetris & Solitaire, alarm, clock, calculator, voice dialling, voice answering, help texts and shortcuts, flip activation, and can store 250 names in its phonebooks.

Its battery life is poor compared to the Nokia competitors; using a Ultra Slim, 500 mAh Li-Pol, 83 g you can get  3.5 hours talk time and 50 hours stand by, (Ultra Slim, 600 mAh Li-Pol, 89 g) 4.5 hours talk time and 65 hours stand by, and (High Capacity, 1400 mAh Li-Pol, 114 g) 10.5 hours talk time and 150 hours stand by.

It was one of the first phones to be Bluetooth enabled with an extra Bluetooth attachment. It did not have Infrared Red compatibility but was able to sync with PC via USB.

Another downside was its texting (sms). The texting is very difficult and extremely simplistic. The T28s was primarily designed to be used for voice calls.

Compared to modern phones it lacks a lot and is very slow. However its network signal is pretty strong. It is very slim and light weight, and very stylish. It is a true 90s retro phone; mobile phone companies no longer design them in the flip style.
