I bought a 'Sanben WY 125 T-21' scooter from these guys last September. Looking at others I must have been lucky, because apart from a few minor quality niggles, I got a pretty good looking and (so far) sturdy scooter for less than 500 quid - and that included a helmet, jacket and gloves. Maybe that's why they went out of business - can't see how they'd made a profit on that!
It arrived on time about a week after ordering. Registration a couple of weeks later. The build quality is not the same as Honda or Suzuki, but they cost 2000 quid plus! The battery benefitted from an upgrade and I found that the time clock and fuel guage had been wrongly wired (draining the battery with the ignition off). Easily put right. Changed as many of the nuts bolts and screws for stainless steel as I could get at, added lots of WD40 and it coped with a Welsh winter!
So far so good - 1000 miles later and still going like a train (I am touching wood). Its a shame that some people seem to have had a raw deal, but I thought I should add my experience for the record. (OK, I've tempted fate, so now next time I go out on the scooter, I'll be a bit nervous).
