Hi, I am writing this guide becuase alot of people think postage charges by some ebayers are too much. Please think twice about this. Remember when bidding or buying an item you are agreeing to the postal charges displayed on the listing.

And if you were charged £10 P&P for something that cost £5 to post, don't assume you've been ripped off. Packaging costs more than some people think. Also it might not be the case that the sellers post office is on the way to work or right next door. Some sellers nearest post office could be 5 miles away, and in some areas alot more. If the post office 5 miles away, its a 10 mile trip there and back every time items need posting, and the cost of petrol keeps rising. Sure, some items could be sent at the postbox down the road, but then there is no proof of posting, no insurance, and a risk of the seller putting the wrong amount of stamps on.

So please think twice about leaving bad feedback becuase of this.

Although I'm saying this, some people do put say a TV on for £0.01 but it now and £499.99 postage. This is against eBay policy and is to avoid eBay fees. Please report all listings like this to eBay.
