FAKE BUYERS FROM NIGERIA : eBay Guides

I put a phone on ebay to sell and I added a buy it now price, unfortunatley someone clicked on buy it now less than an hour after the auction had started.

This was someone who claimed to be a UK resident and was away on business in NIGERIA and therefore could not pay using paypal & wanted the phone sending out there, claiming it was a gift for the head of some department. This e-mail also asked for my full name & address so the buyer could send me out a postal order.

This obviously was a con & I stated that I would only accept paypal & only send the item to the UK. This fraudster wasted a lot of my time I had to re-list the phone & claim back the cost of listing the item.

Watch out for the conmen from NIGERIA
