Having come across this problem with these perfumes - and trying desperately to find a way of selling genuine ones - a lady kindly told me that she had worked for chanel and that the way to tell is when youtake off the cap of the bottle and then the spray top- you should have a WHITE plastic tube running right through into the bottle/ this is genuine- as the scammers use colored ones ] although it is difficult to do this if the item is for a gift as it then has to be opened/   - so spoiling the newness// however if it s  for yourself - it may be worth doing// and always pay thru PAYPAL- as they always repay you and claim back from the seller- so you dont lose out-  hope this helps -thanks //
