I am new to e bay in regard to buying film posters and have bought some great items from some excellent dealers, however i have also had to return some because of very poor descriptions from sellers who knowingly sell posters with hole tears and rips without mentioning the fact. Photoshop has also been used to clone poster damage in order to make it look acceptable.

Most authentic dealers have a guide to their items and systematically list every defect in order to make buying and selling  easier so both buyer and seller know what they are getting without the horrors of opening a poster to find that it is not as described.

I have had some "barrow boy" traders threaten me with all sorts including court action etc, do not be put off by threats and always make sure that you pay by Paypal as this will help you recover funds from charlatan dealers.
