This was NEVER issued by the Royal Mail and has never been listed in the Gibbons catalogue.

You will find that these are actually GB 2004 Classic Locomotives Presentation Pack. Pack number 355 - SG 2417-22.

The vendor will have removed the original mint stamps and howard hinges to replace them with a bigger hinge mount and the mini sheet.

This pack has effectively become worthless and a few unsuspecting collectors have fallen foul of this nasty trick.

In short if you are in any doubt, refer to the Gibbons catalogue or Royal Mail to check if a pack is valid.

If you have already bought a 'Mini-sheet pack', you should demand a refund from the vendor, if you have no luck at first, complain to Ebay and your local trading standards dept. If  you have paid for the item via Paypal in the last 2 months then you may also get some recourse from them aswell.

Be aware that if something seems too good to be true, then it usually is.
