I've been looking for a new driver and there seems to be an awful lot of fakes around. The sites are of a similar setup. The sellers all have 30 star 100 percent positive feedback through buying low value items from similar sites to themselves. Many of these feedback providers are no longer members. eg A+++ positive for buying a 16p zip. They tend to use Auctiva to show loads of expensive gear. These sites have sold virtually nothing, but are now offering specialist expensive golf kit at low prices. If the equipment ever turns up, it will probably be fake. This sort of thing will break buyers confidence and make it difficult for genuine sellers. They get quality feedback for spending less than a tenner and can easily get that back on the first victim. Check feedback in detail, not just the comments. Ebay needs to think about this one. More clues to dodgy sellers are: All these sellers tend to have short auction dates (2 days), some sellers have had no activity for ages beforehand so possibly a Highjacked site. Also check if your being "bid up" by another similar site.
